and now another month has passed, I agree with so many others, we need an ASPro update so we can continue processing new camera data, mine is Olympus E-M1 RAW. Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing the progress in the other non-GPU areas! Fingers crossed. I'd be interested in beta testing on Linux, though this is probably not the place to ask. But I do wonder if there could be bigger gains in image operations (for the same effort) by, for example, ensuring more of the image processing is previewed on the screen-resolution images (and which would help all users, including those on very modest systems) Of course I only hypothesise as I don't know about the ASP internals, but sometimes I wonder if Bibble 4 feels faster for these reasons. I do worry that things like OpenCL and GPU could be a distraction, though I note that you don't say this is the only thing being worked on. That's actually what gives me the most 'speed', and I almost only use colour, crop + sharpen and the occasional localised layer Bugs like deadlocks are still there and really can come at inconvenient times, too. Like some of the other folks expressing their opinions here, personally I am most interested in a really robust and reliable set of basic image operations with a good UI to them operating on sets of images. I look forward to seeing where things are moving. Thanks Rick, good to hear an update here.
